Gastronomical Tour: Tacos Michelin in Bici (Rome-Countess)

The experience begins at the Glorieta de Insurgentes, an emblematic point of the city, where we will meet to take our bikes rented through Mexico City Parquimeter and start a tour designed for true taco lovers.

We will pedal between Rome North and Countess, two of the most vibrant gastronomic epicentres in the capital, making carefully selected stops to try tacos recommended by the Michelin Guide. From classics executed with impeccable technique to flavors that reinterpret tradition without losing its essence.

Each stop is a story: the exact point of the meat, the perfect omelet, the sauce that changes everything. We will visit four tacheries highlighted by Michelin, each with a unique and memorable proposal.

Before closing the tour, the fifth surprise taco will arrive, our special recommendation: a local jewel that, we are sure, will soon appear on the Michelin radar.

The experience culminates with a traditional michelade of the neighborhood, accompanied by local recommendations and gastronomic tips to continue exploring the city from the palate.

Important note: It does not include a visit to the Michelin star tachery, as the waiting time usually exceeds 2 hours and does not accept reservations.

Itinerary

Meeting point

We will meet at the Insurgent Gloriet, where we will take our bikes and start a relaxed and close experience. Here we will check bicycles and helmets, break the ice and prepare to pedal and eat as local.
Duration: 10 minutes

First stop - La Countess

We started the tour in a tachery recognized for its stew tacos, true dishes served in tortilla. Home recipes, deep flavors and traditional sauces introduce us to the heart of Mexican cuisine, while we know the story behind these very dear tacos in the city.
Duration: 30 minutes

Second stop - La Countess

Here we enter a more refined and surprising terrain. Although the taco seems simple, the taste is completely unique. This stop shows us that sometimes the most basic is what leaves the greatest impression.
Duration: 30 minutes

Third stop - Parque México

We pause in Mexico Park to absorb the neighborhood's environment, understand its lifestyle and know some stories that define this area. A perfect time to relax, observe and connect with local life.
Duration: 10 minutes

Fourth stop - Colonia Roma

We enter into one of the most memorable tacos of the journey, with an adobo and a salsa that make it stand out among hundreds. In addition to the taste, you will know the story behind this tachery and its legacy.

Gourmet tour - Northern Rome

We take a strategic pause to walk and pedal through Northern Rome, a Bohemian neighborhood full of contrasts. We share recommendations, history and tips to enjoy this area as a real place.
Duration: 30 minutes

Fifth stop - Northern Rome

We continue with more tacos, now with a proposal inspired by the flavors of northern Mexico, intense, well-defined and different from what is often proven in the capital.
Duration: 30 minutes

Closure of experience

We return to the starting point to return the bikes and close the experience as it should: with a traditional michelade of the neighborhood, very different from international versions. Between laughter and personal recommendations, we share advice to continue exploring Mexico City from the most authentic side.
